Volunteering Terms with the Association or a Second Party Cooperating with the Association:
Registration: Volunteering is exclusive to those registered on the association’s website and who have paid the annual fee. A volunteer certificate is granted only for a minimum of 4 hours.
Financial Support The volunteer is required to pay 70 AED to the association for each volunteering activity. Any additional contributions or gifts for the animals during the activity are welcome.
Photography. You are only allowed to photograph yourself and the animals.
• It is strictly forbidden to photograph other people without their consent.
• It is prohibited to show the facility’s contents, documents, equipment, or medicines without prior approval.
• It is mandatory to mention the association and the cooperating party in any photo publications on social media.
Time Commitment
• Coordination for volunteering requires attendance and adherence to the agreed time.
• Prior notification is required if you are unable to attend.
Personal Safety
• Adhere to safety instructions issued by supervisors.
• Wear appropriate and suitable clothing.
• Do not handle injured or aggressive animals without supervision from a qualified staff member.
• Do not handle any animal closely if you have no prior experience.
General Conduct
• Treat supervisors and fellow volunteers with respect.
• Do not waste time with excessive discussions or questions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the place.
Legal Responsibilities
• The association or any cooperating party in the activity/event bears no responsibility in case of minor injuries or accidental incidents.
• You are responsible for any damage to materials, tools, injuries, or treatment costs of an animal caused by your actions.
• Do not transfer or disclose any information/news you learned during your volunteering or communication.
• Do not share the association’s work locations, members, volunteers, phone numbers, or emails with others.
• Do not pressure the association or cooperating parties to provide private or exceptional services for you.
• Comply with local laws regulating volunteer work and animal care.
In case of violating any of the above, you will be removed from the volunteer list and the necessary legal action will be taken.
