For CAKE items (Eg. Cake, cupcakes, mini cupcakes pushpops), they are best had at aircon temperature. We advise NOT to put the cake into the fridge as it might take a longer time to come back to aircon or room temperature (please make sure your room temp is not too warm). If you cut the cake straight out of the fridge, you will notice that it is very hard and seem “dry”. If you are only having the cake the next day, and you put into the fridge overnight, try to take it out at least 2 hours before cutting. Shorter thawing time might be enough for smaller cakes. For example, mini cupcakes only need to be thawed for a few minutes. The cake will not melt at room temperature, unless it gets very warm or you put it under a blowing fan or exposed to sunlight (how long the cake will last depends on how much heat there is).
For items like mini tarts, and panna cotta, they are best kept in the fridge until serving. You may display them, and they can sit at aircon temperature as well. But best had slightly cold.
For macarons, try to wait just 1-2 minutes. I know its difficult. Haha
