*All Singers will enjoy the following:

1. One 30' individual lesson (without audience) with Maestro Silvio Zanon.
2. One 30' individual lesson (without audience) with Maestra Chiara Angella.
3. Ensemble Coaching session.
4. Course certificate with 2 Italian masters' signatures for 80% attendance and above.
5. 2 free tickets of Opera Prima Concert on November 7, 2016.
6. 2 free tickets of Opera Passion IV Concert on November 9, 2016.
7. 30% discount on coming Opera Society 25th Anniversary concert series.
8. Two scholarships will be awarded to the two Most Outstanding Singers in the Masterclass: (i) one scholarship to study with Maestro Silvio in summer 2017 in Italy, and (ii) one scholarship to be awarded by The Opera Society of Hong Kong to cover the full course fees of Masterclass 2016.
9. The 3 best participants of the masterclass will be invited to perform a solo aria at the Opera Passion IV Concert. 
10. All Masterclass participants must take part in the ensemble items to be performed at Opera Passion IV Concert. 

 

To apply as Singer

1. Deposit a non-refundable registration fee of HK$200 to the Opera Society of Hong Kong's account: HSBC 500-867569-001. Remember to keep the deposit slip.

2.   Record your own choice song for audition and upload your video to your YouTube or Bidu account. Send the link of your audition video to chorus@opera.org.hk.

September 10 – applicants will be notified of audition results

September 17 – deadline for Singer’s participating fee payment

Notes:

• Should any Participant decide to withdraw from the Masterclass on or before September 30 2016, only 50% of the sum paid will be refunded.
• Successful participants are expected to be well prepared before the commencement of the Masterclass.
• The personal data provided in the video and this form will be used by The Opera Society of Hong Kong for processing your application for “2^nd International Opera Exchange Masterclass” and will be held for statistic, correspondence and publicity purposes.
• The Opera Society of Hong Kong reserves the right to amend the application criteria and class program as deemed necessary by the Society.
• The Opera Society of Hong Kong reserves all rights of final arbitration in case of any dispute.
