    Please submit form to inform the school about your intention to terminate your child's enrolment at the German European School Singapore. Please note that withdrawal requests made via email, telephone or the homeroom teacher will not be considered.

    Leaving at end of semester 1 or partway through semester 2

    Leaving at the end of semester 2 or partway through semester 1. Grade 12 students do not need to complete this form.

  • Library books and IT equipment

    All borrowed library books and IT equipment must be returned to the library at least 7 days before the last day of school. If you have any questions, please contact the GESS Library team: library@gess.sg 

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING IMMIGRATION PASSES

    If your child has a Dependant's pass, please note that if the main Employment pass is cancelled, the Dependant's pass is also automatically cancelled.

    Without a valid Dependant's pass, your child will not be able to study at school. Please check with your employer about when they will be cancelling the Employment pass and where possible ask that the pass is cancelled after your child has finished school.

    Should you require a Student's pass for your child, please note that it takes 2 - 8 weeks for the Immigration Checkpoint Authority to process a Student's pass application. Please email admissions@gess.sg immediately if you think a Student's pass may be required.

    A verified vaccination record may also be required and this takes 20+ working days to be processed by the Health Promotion Board. You can download the form from the Health Promotion Board website.

    Your child will not be able to attend school during the Student's pass application period if the Dependant's pass has been cancelled.

  • Temporary withdrawal information

    Withdrawing from GESS on a temporary basis is for students that will be absent for a semster for a study exchange or parent leave of absence from Singapore. The following semester's school fees are required to be paid in advance to confirm the temporary withdrawal. 

    Notification of a temporary withdrawal is required by the withdrawal deadline for each semester.

    If you do not wish to reserve a space in the grade for your child through payment of the following semester's school fees, please do not use this option.

    For copies of school reports, teacher recommendation letters or other documents, please contact School Services (school@gess.sg)

    Withdrawal form data will be securely encrypt and stored for the purpose of withdrawing the student from GESS and where a parent has requested to join the GESS Alumni programme, by the GESS Alumni team for the purpose of enrolling the family in our alumni programme.
