Payment & Cancellation Policy
The Participant hereby undertakes and covenants with MHTC to make payment for Registration Fees to MHTC within seven (7) working days from the registration date made by MHTC through the Website.
An invoice will be issued within 3 to 5 working days. Once issued, it is deemed to be final and cancellation is not allowed. In the event there is cancellation from the participant, MHTC reserves the right to obtain full ticket payment from the participant.
All ticket sales are final. Refund of payment and exchange of ticket will not be entertained.
Personal Data Protection
By registering and participating in the Programme, the Participant hereby agrees that MHTC, including but not limited to its employee, agent or representative, may collect, store, process and use the Participant’s personal data provided by the Participant to MHTC in relation to this Programme including but not limited to Participant’s name, address, telephone number, national registration identification card number and email address (“Personal Data”) in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) for the purpose it was collected, which among others are to provide information to the Participant in regards to MHTC's programmes and other offers and/or promotions that MHTC believes may interest Participant and also for advertising, trade and/or publicity purpose.
The Participant gives consent to MHTC to disclose the Participant’s Personal Data to the relevant governmental authorities or third parties where required by law or for legal purposes. In addition, the Participant understands that MHTC may also be disclosing the Participant’s Personal Data to any third parties whether sited in Malaysia or outside of Malaysia for one or more of the above-stated purposes in accordance to the PDPA.
Online Registration Terms & Conditions
‘insigHT2019’ is a program organized by Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (Company No.: 963360-K) (“MHTC”) to promote ‘Medical Travel Market Intelligence Conference’ (“Programme”). These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) shall constitutes entire agreement between the participant (“Participant”) and MHTC pursuant to Participant’s usage, access, use and provision of any information, data and/or other content through MHTC’s registration online portal located at www.mhtc.org.my/insight2019 in relation to the Programme (“Website”).

Eligibility of Participant
There are six (6) categories of Participant who may participate in the Programme which are:-
1. Member Hospitals - Hospital which has a membership with MHTC on the day of ticket sales payment.
2. Government Stakeholders - Open to all Malaysian government officers.
3. Academia - Open to all Malaysian academicians, undergraduate and post-graduate students
4. MHTC Partners - Local or International Partners of MHTC which have an existing official MOU/Agreement/Partnership on the day of ticket sales payment.
5. General Admission (Malaysia) - Open to the public and related industries who are based in Malaysia.
6. General Admission (International) - Open to the public and related industries who are not based in Malaysia.
The Registration Fees shall be inclusive of 2 days insigHT2019 Conference, an official insigHT2019 Conference Kit, Certificate of Attendance meal for lunch, tea breaks. The Registration Fee is not inclusive of six per centum (6%) of Sales and Services Tax (“SST”) or any bank charges which are applicable for local/international banking transactions.
All amount payable to MHTC shall be in Ringgit Malaysia. We accept USD from international participants and shall be made by way of bank transfer to the account as set out below, subject to the provisions of the Terms and Conditions:-

The Participant hereby undertakes and covenants with MHTC to make payment for Registration Fees to MHTC within seven (7) working days from the registration date made by MHTC through the Website (“Payment Period”). For clarifications purposes, in the event the Participant fails and/or unable to pay the Registration Fees within the Payment Period, MHTC shall reject registration made by the Participant earlier and the Participant is required to re-register again through the Website.
Clearly mention a keyword, your name(s) and the tax invoice number in the description section of your transfer.
For any bank transfer or telegraphic transfer made from outside Malaysia, please be aware of bank service charges. All bank charges for remittances are to be borne solely by the Participant. Failure to pay such fee will result in an incomplete registration and MHTC reserves the absolute right to reject such registration.
In the event the Participant unable to attend the Programme, the Participant may request MHTC to assign the registration to another party by way of an email. Such an email can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org seven (7) working days prior to the Programme. The Participant also may elect to request for refund of the Registration Fees paid by the Participant subject to the following conditions:-
The Participant may cancel the registration and submit a request for a refund to MHTC before 1st August 2019 (“Refund Period”) whereby total refund payable by MHTC is fifty per centum (50%) of the total Registration Fees paid by the Participant. The balance of the Registration Fees shall be used by MHTC as processing fees.No request of refund made by Participant shall be entertained by MHTC after the Refund Period as the Registration Fees shall be utilized by MHTC for the purpose of the Programme.Request for refund shall be sent via email email@example.com No exceptions will be made to the cancellation policy for Participant who is unable to obtain a travel visa. Obtaining a travel visa is the sole responsibility of the Participant. MHTC will assist by providing a letter of confirmation but MHTC is not an authority on visa issues, nor can help with expediting the visa process.
No exception will be made to the cancellation/refund policy for Participant due to travel related issues, natural disasters, or other unexpected events.
Warranties and Representations
The Participant represents and warrants to MHTC that:-
the Participant is an organization or company duly incorporated and validly existing under the laws of Malaysia or other (for organization and company); andAll information furnished by the Participant in connection with the Programme is correct.The information provided pursuant to paragraph (2) above shall be used for MHTC’s conference participant collateral. MHTC shall not share such information with any third party.
Violation of Laws
The Participant hereby agrees and acknowledges that any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Programme is a violation of criminal and civil laws and MHTC reserves the absolute rights to seek damages from those making such attempts to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and all matters relating to Participant’s access or usage of the Website including but not limited to matters relating to the Programme shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
The Participant and MHTC hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia in respect of any claim or proceeding arising from this Terms and Condition and the Programme and to obey any order or judgment of the courts in respect of such claim or proceedings
Exclusion of Liability
MHTC, including but not limited to its employee, agent or representative, are not responsible for:-
late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed e-mails or other communications; orerrors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices or transmission lines; ordata corruption, theft, destruction, loss, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials; orelectronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind or insufficient space in Participant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages.Each Participant by participating in the Programme, agrees on Participant’s behalf (and on behalf of Participant's heirs, assignees, executors and administrators) to release, discharge, indemnify and hold MHTC, including but not limited to its employee, agent or representative, harmless from and against any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind, to persons, or property, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Participant's participation in the Programme.
The Website may provide links to other websites and vice versa merely for Participant’s convenience and information. MHTC shall neither be responsible for the content and availability of such other websites that may be operated and controlled by any third party nor for the information, products or services contained on or accessible through those websites. The Participant’s access and use of such websites remain solely at the Participant’s own risk. MHTC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential losses and/or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of the Participant’s access to such websites.
MHTC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Programme, if any virus, bug, tampering, technical failure, unauthorized human intervention or other cause outside of MHTC's control corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Programme. In the event of any such modification, cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice of such action will be posted on the Website, if functioning and MHTC shall not be liable to the Participant on such modification, cancellation, termination or suspension.
MHTC reserves the right to vary and/or amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to the Participant whereby such variations and amendments will be posted on the Website if functioning.
