Terms & Conditions
LG Chem may, at its discretion:
1. Require the faulty battery to be returned for assessment before repairing or replacing.
2. Send a replacement battery in advance.
Installers are required to
(a) Hold the faulty battery in their warehouse until collected
(b) Advise LG Energy Solution that the battery is ready for collection within 30 days of (i) receipt of replacement battery (ii) lodgement of RMA, whichever is sooner
(c) keep the logistic manifest, signed by the pick-up driver as proof of collection. This is to establish liability in cases of batteries in transit.
(d) Installers are responsible to keep the batteries in their warehouse until collected.
Advance batteries are provided, on request, in good faith to assist the installer in providing timely customer support.
Should an installer fail to return a faulty battery according the terms above, they will become liable for the cost of the battery including reasons of accidental loss, re-sale or disposal other than authorised in writing by LG Energy Solution.
The liability shall not exceed 75% of the wholesale cost of a brand new battery as defined by LG Energy Solution Manufacturer’s Suggested Wholesale Price (MSWP).
