    RESU LV

    1.    Ensure data cable is in the correct port (near dipswitches)

    2.    Ensure that the dipswitch locations are in the correct positions (0011 for 1 battery systems - see manual for multiple batteries)

    3.    Ensure correct inverter firmware is loaded on inverter

    4.    Installer RESU LV must read tips

    5.    LV Compatiable inverters document  

     

     

    RESU HV

    1.    Ensure data cable has been wired correctly between inverter and battery

    2.    Ensure that the AUX power is turned ON during testing (TYPE R models)

    3.    Ensure correct inverter firmware is loaded on inverter

    4.    Always have the breaker OFF before turning the AUX swictch ON or OFF (TYPE R models)

    5.    If system not operating you must ensure the AUX switch is turned OFF to protect from self discharge (TYPE R models)

    LG Chem may, at its discretion:

    1.       Require the faulty battery to be returned for assessment before repairing or replacing.

    OR

    2.       Send a replacement battery in advance.

     

    Installers are required to

    (a)     Hold the faulty battery in their warehouse until collected

    (b)     Advise LG Energy Solution that the battery is ready for collection within 30 days of (i) receipt of replacement battery (ii) lodgement of RMA, whichever is sooner

    (c)      keep the logistic manifest, signed by the pick-up driver as proof of collection. This is to establish liability in cases of batteries in transit.

    (d)     Installers are responsible to keep the batteries in their warehouse until collected.

    IMPORTANT:

    Advance batteries are provided, on request, in good faith to assist the installer in providing timely customer support.

    Should an installer fail to return a faulty battery according the terms above, they will become liable for the cost of the battery including reasons of accidental loss, re-sale or disposal other than authorised in writing by LG Energy Solution.

    The liability shall not exceed 75% of the wholesale cost of a brand new battery as defined by LG Energy Solution Manufacturer’s Suggested Wholesale Price (MSWP).

     

  • RMA Lodgement

    By hitting submit below you agree to the terms and conditions listed below and that the information provided is correct and if/when you receive a replacement battery you will assist LG Chem to get the faulty battery back to our facility for assessment. If it is found that a battery has been damaged due to installation error LG Chem reserves the right to recover costs incurred for the replacement product and logistics. You will be contacted by our support team shortly with an update to your claim.
